Fashion Week Zagreb 009
The first Fashion Week Zagreb started in the Museum of art in 2003. We presented more than a hundred designers which made quite the impression and caused shock in the fashion industry. We didn’t even know what we started and what kind of adventure we were going into. We had the will, the idea and the enthusiasm. Today we know where we’re going, what we want and what are our goals.
First of all we follow the worlds fashion standards presenting collections for a season ahead, which is, knowing the croatian fashion scene and it’s posibilities, not a simple job.
We’re proud that the world media and foreing designers recognized the meaning of Fashion Week Zagreb, and that the name of a small, but creative week of fashion traveled to the fashion capitals such as New york, Paris and London.

From November 26. - December 2. 2007. Zagreb will once again be the center of the croatians fashion industry, and once more traditionaly in the Boćarski dom baloon. More than 50 croatian and foreing designers will present their spring-summer 2008. collection. We will host foreing designers from France, Great Britain, Canada, Hungary, Vietnam, Serbia, Spain and USA who with their presence recognize the world meaning of Wella Fashion Week Zagreb.

Croatias biggest fashion event Wella Fashion Week Zagreb will start monday November 26. at 7 p.m. with a Welcoming gala in the hotel Arcotel - Allegra, and will be followed by the exibition of Suzana Štimac. Croatias week of fashion will be closed with the traditional charity event Fashion baazar, which will be held on sunday, December 2. from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. in Avenue mall - Cinestar. The money raised will be donated for a good cause to the Center for rehabilitation Filip and Jakov. Also, there will be a VIP projection of the movie Elizabeth II, also sunday at 8 p.m.

This year WFWZ is focused on the young designers, creativity and inovation who have enough imagination and knowledge to spite the standards on the croatian fashion scene. Our goal is to show and proof that the creativity of the young designers can only bring us closer to the world fashion scene and to bring to Croatia a little bit of the New York and London culture.

We hope that once again this season You will recognize the dignity of the only
internation fashion event in Croatia.
